I LOVE my vacuum, too! I use a Dyson DCO7 Animal Upright and, as you can see, it is purple! I use it every single day, because, just like you, I really like to vacuum. :)

Our skylarks have returned! Lying in bed in the early morning quiet, listening to the larksong, is glorious.
PS I have a dyson too, but the sort you have to pull along behind and tug around the corners and rescue from being wedged under the dresser. We have hardwood floors throughout and it is SOOO NOISY!!! Raining here too, with a threatening of snow. Gill.
