Beautiful sparkling webs dot the front lawn this morning. ****************************************** My nasturtiums seem to be doing very well. I just love the shape of their leaves. ****************************************** Still rainy this morning but the weather looks to be warm(ish) and clearish) by the weekend. ******************************************

My heart is breaking! I just watched an electric company worker take down the street light out front - the one that had the sparrow nest in it! When he removed the light fixture, all this stuff came out and at least one bird flew out at him - he jumped a foot, lol - serves him right! The poor little things have no home now! I hope all the babies had left the nest. Now I want to know who ratted out the sparrows? It had to be one of our neighbors ...

So much going on now it's hard to keep up! The world is green again and there are things flying in the air and crawling underfoot. Nature is having a field day this month. ****************************************** Temps in the low 70s this week. A little rain maybe but mostly clear. Great planting weather. ****************************************** Speaking of planting, we've been busy doing just that. A post about all our garden aspirations will be up soon ... ******************************************

November Nature Club: at the Salt Marsh

Marsh1

It was the coldest day of the autumn so far, and our group headed north to the salt marsh for a two-hour nature walk. A beautiful day - but hoo boy was it cold (34 was the day's high)!

More photos - and details - to come later ... once I've figured out this new posting format Typepad has cooked up. Any other Typepad bloggers having trouble?

Dawn - Have you tried Windows Live Writer? It is a little program that installs on your computer. It communicates with your blog and makes posting on your blog as easy as using a word processor. I love it. I don't know how to do a link here, but if you google those words it should be easy to find.

I love the photo, I use blogger so I can't help with type pad...I do know it has been taking me longer to upload Typepad sites for a while.

Do you enjoy using typepad Dawn? I have been thinking of beginning my own blog but it has to be easy to use. I am incredibly impatient. I would appreciate any advice you could offer. :)

Dear Dawn, ave you seen the movie "Twilight yet?" It is Stephanie Meyers movie to her books. I know you read her stuff, so i wasn't sure if you have seen the previews or not?? Check out the trailer if you haven't/

Dawn, I went round and round with the new format. The Help team finally suggested clearing the cache. Once I did the format loaded fine and it really is pretty simple to work now.
