It only takes a minute to tell us that all is ok and you're just enjoying some time off (which everyone deserves), but this way you are worrying us; we are assuming that something is wrong . . Let us know!

Hello Dawn, I'm from Portugal and your blog is one of my favorites. I have two daughters (3 and 9) and love all your posts about education and organization.
Many thanks for all the inspiration.

How ironic! My kids heard me singing this tune this morning. LOL My son is convinced that I need counseling and to "Get a life" Hahahahaha.
We moms just need encouragement and to encourage, right???, and when you know you have found a treasure, you don't want to lose it.
Seriously though Dawn, our family does hope that everything is well with yours and you are enjoying the end of summer.
Praying all is well,
Teresa

I had wondered where you were.
I don't often comment. I have only worked out how since I started a blog, not very technical.
I have been a huge fan of yours for some years in fact.
I would like to pass on to you the "TrueHeart" Award for being so inspirational.
The info is on my blog at this post--

I'll send up a prayer for your family as they finish up the summer and begin the new school year. May your new plans for the school year be blessed.

Glad you're well, only busy ;-) Don't stress on posting, we'll still be here.
Side-note: homeschooling is a states' rights issue, it's legal in all fifty states, but the regulations vary quite a bit.

Treat yourself when those reports are done, you deserve it.

Ditto what Sherri said. :-)

Thanks for touching base. It's nice to know you are just busy, not unwell. I was hoping you were busy with fun stuff, though! :)

The state of Mass. must have some very different homeschooling regulations from Texas, South Carolina and Tennessee..places where I have schooled my children. I have never had to do year end reports or submit outlines for the next school year. Yet, we have homeschooled legally wherever we have lived.
Posted by: Sylvia | July 15, 2009 at 11:49 AM
I'm glad you're all ok Dawn - and please don't stress about the file crate posts - I bet most of us understand those year end reports all too well!
Won't it be freeing to be done with those reports? Make sure you treat yourself!
