Dawn, I would absolutely love it if you would share some of your thoughts, booklists, and plans of your Elemental Studies! It sounds fantastic, my brain is already running with the notion for my sprouts, as I've been pondering what to do for science come summer/early fall. Thanks for the inspiration :-)

I'm very intrigued by your air, water, earth, fire studies Dawn. I have wanted to do something like that for ages. Are you doing it for all the boys? I'm wondering if you are using a particular curriculum for this (beginning with the letter C :)).

Fascinating. I'm almost more interested in this study for myself, so I know if we learn it together it will be fun. March/Air in Florida might be truly worthwhile - kite flying and all ;)

Hmm.. time to get busy Penny!

I didn't watch Masterpiece. We skated all day and I was beat :) Getting in our winter sports while the gettin' is good, kwim?

And those cats with their ladybugs! We must have looked at that 10 times yesterday! So stinkin' cute!

    Trader Joe's Speculoos Cookie Butter
We found this stuff last week at Trader Joe's and OH MY is it ever so good! It has the consistency of peanut butter, but it is made with crushed shortbread cookies and gingerbread spices. It is absolutely delicious spread on Ritz crackers. And I must warn you: It is fairly addictive.

Happy Holiday Fun!
