Of Note: The Feast of The Visitation

Housekeeping: trash/recycling (boys), clean dining room, clean family room, start new file folder/start planning next week, organize coupons, peruse store flyers, start dinner menu for next week

(trash day is moved to Friday due to the Monday holiday)

Weather: sunny, breezy, 80s

Dinner:

roasted kielbasa and vegetables

crescent rolls

mixed fruit and cookies

Nature:

- Heard a hawk calling this morning, somewhere off in the woods.

- Robin still on the nest.

- Lavender in bloom.

Notes of the Day:

- Made a coffee cake for breakfast this morning - just a package mix I had on the shelf, but it was a nice surprise for the boys (who woke to the house smelling like cinnamon). I served it with strawberries and whipped cream.
