Those are lovely. I don't know what they are, but I recognize them because they are planted alot on roadsides here. I think they are cornflowers.


Those look like the bachelor's buttons my husband has planted around our home. They are pretty but be warned, if that is what they are, they'll be all over before too long--they spread like weeds! As much as we like them we had to take some out because they were overwhelming our garden

We have these and call them both cornflowers and bachelor buttons. They're so impressionistic with their blue-gray foilage and pink blue cream mix. Mine self-seed, but don't become too aggressive. I love their spreading.
