Hello!

  • Welcome to my little nature corner! I am starting this blog on January 1st, 2007 and it is my goal to write something every day - in hopes of creating a family almanac by the end of the year. Some days it might just be the temperature, others it will be (I hope) posts full of pictures and observations. I hope you enjoy your time here!

Everyday Nature

  • ~Early Spring Birds~
Now's the time of year to start watching for spring migrants passing through. Keep your bird guides handy so you can identify them! It's also the time to hear spring birdsong (it will sound new and yet familiar) and to observe courting behavior. :) ******************************************

We just read in our Handbook of Nature Study of how the crows and blue jays are related!

I would love to hear more about your Nature study club Dawn. I've been watching your other blog for pictures and a post with more details but haven't found one yet. If by chance I've missed it will you send me the link?

Thanks,
Theresa
